The Ichabod Success Institute is a 4-day camp that will assist in students' transition to college. We will support Washburn Ichabods' future successes by:
  • Strengthening students' sense of belonging
  • Fostering students' self-efficacy
  • Developing students' academic interests

When:
9:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4th- Thursday, Aug. 7th, 2025

Eligible Students:
Shawnee County Promise Scholars

Benefits:

  • Attend workshops to learn collegiate skills
  • Experience college life with a cohort of incoming first-year students
  • Meet knowledgeable mentors
  • Receive a Washburn swag bag
  • Earn $100 in Bod Bucks upon completion of the institute. Bod Bucks can be used most places on campus including the bookstore, dining halls, and vending machines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. In order to receive the $100 in Bod Bucks, you must participate in the entire program.
It will cost eligible students nothing.
No. This is a non-residential program. Students need a reliable form of transportation to commute to campus each day.
Yes. The program will provide lunch for each student Monday-Thursday.
The registration deadline is July 1st, 2025.
