Student Support Services is a program designed to help college students continue in and complete their degrees. Joining Student Support Services increases your chances of persisting in college and earning your degree! Nationally, 90% of SSS students persist from one year to the next, and 51% complete their degrees!

SSS students will receive FREE support services to help make their degrees a reality, including:
- Dedicated in-person tutors, just for SSS students
- Advising from an advisor with a small caseload, who can give you more personalized attention
- Success Coaching to help you set and achieve your educational goals
- Special Financial Aid workshops and information tailored for SSS students
- Assistance applying to graduate or professional school
- Assistance with developing your career-readiness skills
- First-generation college students
- Low-income students
- Students with disabilities
- Students receiving the Shawnee County Promise scholarship are particularly encouraged to apply!
Nothing! All services are free to you and are paid for with a grant from the US Department of Education.
What’s more, SSS could help pay for your conference travel to present your research, travel to leadership seminars, and other academic enrichment activities!
