Vision
Create and foster a welcoming campus community that respects and embraces our intersectional identities.
Pillars and Focus

Intersectional Education and Community Engagement
The Intersection hosts student programs and opportunities for students to have dialogue and engage in self-exploration of their own and others' intersectional identities. The Intersection also hosts opportunities for students to engage in on and off campus community engagement.

Purposeful Coalition and Leadership
The Intersection hosts student-centered programs and activities that allow students the opportunity to engage in coalition building with student government, fraternities and sororities and student programming leaders. The Intersection is an important space for meetings, discussions and the sharing of ideas for creating a sense of community.

Reflection, Support and Sense of Community
The Intersection serves as a welcoming gathering space for students to engage in mentoring, leadership, social, and emotional support activities that assist in their academic success and retention towards graduation.

Mission
