Campus Activities Board

Campus Activities Board is a student organization that has programmed events for WU students to enjoy since 1952. CAB provides FREE well-rounded social, educational, cultural, and recreational activities for all Washburn students, faculty, administration, alumni, and the Topeka community. The CAB office is located in the Union Underground (Lower Level of the Union) and would love to see you stop by!

Archana Adhikari

I'm a law student and a practicing lawyer with a deep love for bringing people together through events. As a CAB Director, I plan, run, and promote campus events, taking pride in every step, from shaping ideas to seeing them come to life. Events are truly my forte, and creating meaningful experiences is what I enjoy most. I love meeting new people, having new conversations, and building spaces where everyone feels welcome. Blending my legal background with my passion for events, I believe the best moments are created when people connect, feel seen, and share something memorable together.

I am a Bachelor of Integrated Studies Major with an emphasis in Chemistry and Art. I am aspiring to be a pharmacist as well as an artist. What excites me about the CAB Director role is the positive impact I can make on students of this campus by introducing them to events that will enable them to meet new people, go outside of their comfort zone, and try something new.

My name is Sumika Karmacharya, and I’m an international student from Nepal majoring in Nursing. I enjoy trying new things, meeting new people, and making the most out of my college experience. My name is Maddisan Bowleg, and I am majoring in Marketing and Management with a minor in Economics. As a CAB Director, I look forward to helping create events that bring students from different backgrounds together and make campus feel more connected. I enjoy planning experiences where students can relax, laugh, win a prize, or bond with someone they may not have met otherwise.
