- Extended Hours
- Charges will be assessed to open or close the Memorial Union beyond normal operating hours at the rate of $50/hr.
- Requests are not guaranteed due to staffing.
- Sales and Solicitation
- Selling merchandise is prohibited unless provided by Ichabod Shop.

- Food Policy
- Any food, snack, or beverage served and/or sold must be provided by Dining Services.
- Catering 785-670-2221.
- Study Groups
- The Memorial Union has many lounges and seating areas on all floors for study areas.
- The lower level has large spaces for groups and allows for active conversation.
- The upper level is meant for quiet individual study.
- All available during business hours.
- Meeting rooms are reserved through University Scheduling
- University Scheduling 785-670-1725.
- Any decorating must be approved through University Scheduling for all areas of the Memorial Union.
- If approved, all decorations must be self-supporting or request use of blue screens.
- The Memorial Union has many options to advertise your events on campus.
- Options include: Tabling, Bulletin Boards, Banners, Window Chalking, and Electronic Signage.

- Meeting rooms are equipped with an in-room PC.
- Users can use the wireless keyboard/mouse provided and log into the Washburn network or provide their own computer equipment.
- Washburn faculty, staff, and students can sign on using their WU ID, user name and password.
- Internet access is available to guests needing short-term use. Guests may use the generic account on the in-room PC or contact University Scheduling of alternate needs for personal equipment.

- Public spaces are equipped with wireless internet for guests and Washburn faculty, staff, and students. Users are responsible for providing their own electronic equipment.
- Washburn faculty, staff, and students can sign on using Internet and WiFi access
- Guests may access Visitor Wireless .
