International Travel Registry
Washburn University recognizes international education as a vital part of its academic mission. To help mitigate potential risks, all students, faculty, and staff traveling internationally—through WU-approved programs or activities receiving university funding—are required to register their travel.
Travelers must complete the International Travel Registry and submit all supporting documentation no later than two weeks prior to departure.
Registration grants access to Safe Check, a service that enables the Study Abroad Office to send SMS messages to travelers to monitor their safety and well-being.
Students participating in WU-administered study abroad programs do not need to complete a separate Travel Registry, as their information is collected through the program application process.
